Its theme was to demonstrate the incredible evolution of Disney's art of animated filmmaking over the 12 year period from Steamboat Willie (1928) to Fantasia (1940) through a series of displays incorporating original art. Illustrations of art and scenes from the films are in color and black-and-white.Animation cels, background paintings, animation drawings, continuity and atmosphere story sketches, model sheets, layout drawings, and character model statues were included in the show. A descriptive list of the forty-five (45) displays appears over 3 pages and a 1-page glossary defines the various art forms.
