Yankees Perfect Game Battery

Throwing a perfect game is without a doubt the toughest thing to do in baseball. Since Major League Baseball began in 1876, there have only been 23 perfect games pitched. In comparison, there have been 317 no-hitters… that’s how difficult it is to be perfect! Throughout Yankees rich history, only three players have managed to throw a perfect game!

Offered here is an Official American League Baseball signed by those three Yankee pitchers and their catchers! All the batterymates have signed in bold blue ink, and each pitcher has inscribed the date of his perfect game.

Of course, Don Larsen and Yogi Berra “10-8-56” adorn the sweetspot, as they were the first to do it in pinstripes - the only perfect game in World Series history! Next was David Wells “5-17-98” and Jorge Posada, and last but not least, David Cone “P.G. 7-18-99” and Joe Girardi.

There are very few pieces in the hobby featuring all six of these New York legends… We’ve only owned a few of these in all our years!
