A Ty Cobb mint 9 autograph in his iconic green ink... vintage baseball at it's finest! At the time Cobb put pen to paper on "8/5/52", he was still considered the one of the two greatest baseball player of all-time, the other of course being Babe Ruth. Baseball fans around the country constantly sought the Georgia Peach's signature, but this was long before card shows and public autograph signings!

Perhaps the most common way to obtain your favorite ball players' signature at the time was to write them directly! This lucky fan was fortunate enough to receive a government postcard response with Cobb's autograph and the date perfectly scripted in the classic green ink. Cobb also addressed the postcard in his hand, and to this day, the condition remains flawless!
