The Opus Super Bowl MVP Edition!
The Opus is heralded as the world's most luxurious book, and documents the rich, 40-year history of the Super Bowl! The highlight of the Limited-Edition publication is a single page signed by all 35 Super Bowl MVPs from Super Bowl I in 1967 through SB XL in 2006, when the book was produced.
All 35 signatures are of high quality in fine-tip black pen, and include: Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Len Dawson, Chuck Howley, Roger Staubach, Jake Scott, Larry Csonka, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, Fred Biletnikoff, Randy White, Terry Bradshaw, Jim Plunkett, Joe Montana, John Riggins, Marcus Allen, Richard Dent, Phil Simms, Doug Williams, Jerry Rice, Ottis Anderson, Mark Rypien, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Steve Young, Larry Brown, Desmond Howard, Terrell Davis, John Elway, Kurt Warner, Ray Lewis, Tom Brady, Dexter Jackson, Deion Branch and Hines Ward. The only MVP missing from this 40-year span is Harvey Martin (Dallas Cowboys, SB XII), who tragically passed away in 2001 before the Opus was put together.
Of course, the sheer rarity of such an item is a true NFL treasure. Aside from the 400 Limited Edition copies of the Opus, there is no other piece in the hobby that features this many Super Bowl MVP autographs on one piece! In fact, no other sport has such a piece signed by this many of its Champion MVPs. This once-in-a-lifetime signing session took place at Super Bowl XL in Detroit, and the reunion of these football legends has spawned a priceless piece of memorabilia that every American Football aficionado would love to own.
However, in addition to the rare signature page, the book celebrates America's most-revered sporting event in so many other ways. This unique publication is an exhaustively researched and lavishly produced work of art that presents a truly cinematic experience. The red leather-bound work of art measures 20”x20”x6” and weighs a record-breaking 88 pounds! It features 850 glossy pages of exclusive, never-before-seen images taken over the Super Bowl's 40-year history by America's top sports photographers, including exclusive portraits that can only be found in the Opus! The Opus is not just beautiful to look at, memoirs from the greats of the game, among them Bart Starr, Joe Namath, and Jerry Kramer, make the MVP pages even more dramatic.
