Ted Williams Single Signed Baseball
PSA Mint 9
Ted Williams was quite simply the greatest hitter of all-time, with a lifetime batting average of .344. He is the last player to bat over .400 in a single season (.406 in 1941) and is one of only two Major Leaguers to win the Triple Crown Award twice (Rogers Hornsby: 1922 & 1925, Williams: 1942 & 1947). With that said, a Ted Williams single signed baseball is an absolute “must” for any Hall of Fame Collection. However, obtaining one in high-grade is the best way to set your collection apart, and in fact, such examples are scarce in supply.
Although Williams signed many baseballs, most were not properly stored over the years and have succumbed to toning and fading. Additionally, to get a 'Mint' autograph, the ball must have been signed perfectly out of the box. Since Williams signed dozens at a time, most of them have skips in the signature and can be very sloppy.
We are proud to offer this gorgeous Official American League Baseball (Bobby Brown, pres.) signed by the Red Sox Hall of Famer. Both the autograph and baseball itself are graded Mint 9, therefore receiving an overall grade of MINT 9 from PSA/DNA.
