A rare 8x10 image signed by Roger Maris - this is the first time we've ever owned this particular photo striking a pose not seen often - on one knee, leaning on his bat while gazing into the distance in Pinstripes (of course).

To most baseball purists, Maris still holds the single-season home run record. Sadly, the 1960 & '61 MVP passed away in 1985 before autograph shows became a common trend in commercial baseball collecting. Thus, his autograph on a premium item such as a ball, photo, bat or jersey is considered rare. This photo of Maris in pinstripes and a classic Yankee Stadium Facade backdrop is beautifully and boldly signed in blue felt tip marker making it an obvious choice for the collector who doesn't own a Maris photo... yet.
