Rare Jackie Robinson Brooklyn Dodgers Signed Photo, Inscribed "Best Wishes". JSA
Of all the Jackie autographs we’ve owned over the years, we've only had a handful of signed photos in our collection. Usually we find signed postcards, cuts, album pages, and index cards, as these mediums were easier to obtain signatures on. Rarely do we get the chance to own signed photos, like this autographed magazine photo!
This vintage photo measures appx. 9 x 7 inches, and features Jackie’s iconic autograph in blue ink. It’s a classic color image of the Brooklyn Dodger Hall of Famer with a bat resting on his shoulder wearing his blue Dodger hat.
Jackie memorabilia continues to gain popularity and we've seen an increased demand in recent years especially from non-baseball collectors. Without a doubt, Jackie is one of the best autographs in American History! Premium items like photos, especially without a personalized inscription, are scarce indeed.
Jackie unfortunately passed away in 1972 at only 53 years old. During his career, he was known as an accommodating signer, but because he passed away so young and before the memorabilia boom of the 1980s, there is not a lot of authentic material in the market, especially when you compare him to his HOF counterparts of the same era (Mantle, DiMaggio, Williams, Mays, Aaron etc..)
Comes with a Letter a Authenticity from JSA.
