Rare Frank Frisch Single Signed Baseball. PSA
The Fordham Flash!
An extremely difficult single from an early Hall of Famer, offered here is a gorgeous Frank Frisch single signed baseball. Frisch was the prototypical pre-war second baseball... scrappy! He could hit for average, stole bases, and was great with the leather. His signature is not especially rare, as he is commonly found on team-signed baseballs and flats (index cards, postcards, cuts, etc.)
However, Frank Frisch single signed baseballs are especially rare and do not often surface. Perhaps the best explanation is that he was not as flashy a player or as popular as the bigger stars of the day like Ruth, Gehrig, Cobb, and others who would obviously receive more requests for a single than Frisch. But of course, once elected to the Hall of Fame in 1947, his single became necessary for a Hall of Fame collection, and the lack of supply naturally drove up the demand! Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
