Muhammad Ali Signed 16x20 Photo Over Liston, Framed. Auto JSA
Muhammad Ali - The Greatest
Float like a Butterfly, Sting like a Bee
Esteemed photographer John Rooney was in the right place at the right time we he captured the greatest photograph in sports history! On May 25, 1965, Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston squared up for their second title fight. This was a rematch to their first bout in 1964, when then-Cassius Clay upset the World Heavy Weight Champion Liston to claim his first title. In the much anticipated rematch, now fighting under the name Muhammad Ali, the Greatest of All-Time knocked out Liston in the first minute of the first round.
This iconic 16x20 photo has been signed by Ali in bold gold ink. The signature is desirably large and legible for Ali, as it was signed in 1992 before his illness significantly effected his autograph, and contrasts perfectly off the black background. Certainly a statement piece and one of our absolute favorites!
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from JSA.
