Magic Signed LA Forum Floor Piece!

Offered here is a relic from one of the greatest and most iconic sports teams of all-time... the 1980 Showtime Lakers! This is a large floor piece from the Los Angeles Forum signed by Magic Johnson. We’ve presented the autographed NBA hardwood in a gorgeous display with a photo of Magic playing against his friend and rival Michael Jordan.

The Lakers played at the Forum from 1967 to 1999, and won a total of six NBA Championships on this floor! Just think about all the legends who stepped on this piece of hardwood… Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, Magic Johnson Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kobe Bryant… and those are just the Hall of Famers to don the Purple and Gold!

Most game used floor pieces seen in the hobby are relatively small, just a few inches wide by a few inches tall. This particular piece is massive compared to everything else on the market and measures about 8” x 10” and about 2 inches thick! (In today's over-commercialized hobby, a large piece like this would never be issued; it would be cut and shaved into hundreds of small pieces!)

Perhaps the most beloved Laker of all time, Magic Johnson has signed the floor piece with his full name (typically he only signs as "Magic,"). While Magic is an accommodating signer, premium items like this are especially tough when compared to the population of signed basketballs and photos. The Hall of Fame point guard’s iconic signature is large and presented in bold black ink. Magic led the Lakers to five of the six NBA titles won on this exact floor, and of course he also won three regular season MVPs and three Finals MVPs! Authenticated by PSA/DNA (hologram sticker only) and certificate of authenticity from the Lakers.
