Gorgeous Honus Wagner Signed T206 Rookie Autograph Display. Auto PSA
The Flying Dutchman T206 Rookie Autograph Display!
Honus Wagner (1874-1955), is considered the greatest shortstop in baseball history, and so it is not surprising that he was inducted into the Hall of Fame's first class in 1936. In fact, he received the second highest number of total votes. That first class consisted of just five special members (the others being Ruth, Cobb, Mathewson, and Walter Johnson). In the baseball collecting world he is extremely important, as his likeness appears on the most celebrated baseball card in history - the famed 1911"T-206" tobacco trading card.
As such, the baseball legend is one of the most coveted autographs in the hobby. He passed away in 1955, long before it was fashionable to assemble a collection of rare baseball autographs. Presented is a gorgeous Wagner autograph presented on a 3x5 index card. The signature remains bold in black ink, and it was actually in response to a fan's autograph request, which is featured on the reverse of the index card... vintage autograph collecting at its finest!
Of course, we custom-framed the Flying Dutchman’s rare autograph it with a large sized print of the famed Wagner T-206 tobacco rookie card in Pittsburgh Pirates colors.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
