Lou Gehrig 1936 Signed Scorecard
One of the most coveted autographs in sports collecting, the Iron Horse, Lou Gehrig!
Gehrig penned his name on the cover of this Comiskey Park scorecard booklet from a June match-up between the Yankees and Chicago White Sox. Of course the Yankees would go on to win the World Series in 1936, and Gehrig was forced to retire just three years later in 1939, and passed away in 1941. He's one of the toughest autographs in baseball, and certainly in high demand as an Inaugural Hall of Famer of 1939! The scorecard booklet is also signed by Yankee coach John Schulte.
