Charles Lindbergh rose to prominance in 1927 at the young age of 25 when he complete the first solo, non-stop transatlantic flight. Upon his return, Lindbergh received the Presidential Medal of Honor and was a national hero. Offered here is a rare original photograph of Lindbergh with of course, his airplane, the Spirit of St. Louis. The photo was done by Underwood and Underwood, one of the most prominent photography studios of the time. The photo is oversized, which is rare for its era - measuring approximately 11x14, an it has been custom framed and matted!
