Sourced from the famed Tom Eakin Collection in the Ohio Baseball Hall of Fame. Eakin was famously known for mailing players packages to their home addresses. Inside the package included the item to sign and a special pen. The pen was an expensive fountain pen with jet black ink which he always made sure the players returned to him. The Eakin Collection resulted in the finest, darkest signatures and didn't lend itself to much fading over the years.
