A vintage 1920s original photograph featuring the famous throughway that is 42nd street in NY as it appeared in the 20s. Taken from the 9th Avenue El looking east, here we get a vew of the shops and old automobiles that line up the street that would become famous in the decades to come. This vintage period TYPE 1 photograph is in excellent condition and was captured by the noted NYC photographer Percy Loomis Spear and has his embossed stamp on the lower right. A wonderful antique photograph of NYC!
