1926 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball from Youth Baseball Slugger
Babe Ruth was known to be tremendously supportive of youth baseball. In that spirit, the Babe and arranged a personal activity in Rochester on June 4, 1926. Already in town with the Yankees for an exhibition on that day, Ruth detoured from the contest (against the local minor league squad) to conduct a clinic for young hitters. A highlight of the event -- sponsored by the Rochester Journal-American -- was the awarding by Ruth of this autographed ball to the town's most dedicated youthful slugger. An extremely desirable ball, the relic showcases its signature marvelously, and finds additional appeal in the fact that the motive for its signing -- to provide excitement for young ballplayers -- is so heartwarmingly "Ruthian." 1920s Detroit Tigers Signed Baseball
This is one of the very few early Detroit Tigers team signed baseballs in existence. This gem bears the entire 1920 Tigers regular starting lineup, including the primary pitching staff, and all three of the team's Hall of Famers (Cobb, Heilmann, Jennings). 19 vintage signatures cover the Official American League (Ban Johnson) baseball. Including, Eddie Ainsmith, Y. W. (Doc) Ayers, Owen (Donie) Bush, Ty Cobb, Jack Coombs, Howard Ehmke, Bert Ellison, Ira Flagstead, Sam Hale, Harry Heilmann, Hughie Jennings, Bob Jones (sweet spot), Dutch Leonard, Red Oldham, Babe Pinelli, Chick Shorten, O.H. (Oscar) Stanage, and Bobby Veach. The ball is also inscribed "Detroit 1920" on the panel. When will another early one like this surface? Since we started trading sports memorabilia in 1986 we have owned no more than 10-12 pre-1926 team balls of any kind. This by far is our earliest Cobb-team ball. -

Vintage Baseball Stars Signed Baseball
As collectors know, putting together a collection of single signed baseballs is paramount, but can be incredibly expensive. Fortunately, there is an economical way to achieve the same thing; a multi-signed ball like this. Six of baseball’s finest legends signed this ball; Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Connie Mack, Lefty Grove, Jimmie Foxx and Joe Cronin. This ball in particular is in outstanding condition, the signatures deeply contrast the ball’s white surface. This is why the ball nearly flew off our shelf. -

1927 World Series Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig Signed and Game Used Baseball.
This ball has a very special legacy. It's accompanied by a letter of reference to Alan Gould. Readers may recall that Mr. Gould served over four decades as Executive Director for the Associated Press. In that capacity, he mingled routinely in the midst of the sporting world's rich-and-famous - among them, most certainly, Babe Ruth. The 1927 season, of course, is widely regarded as the pinnacle of Yankee might, and its indomitable presence was marshaled by Ruth and Gehrig. In the course of one game during the '27 World Series, Gould made an appearance in the Yankee dugout where Ruth welcomed the noted journalist, giving him this game-used baseball signed by himself and Lou Gehrig. -
Babe Ruth’s Homerun Ball Signed by The Babe and Lou Gehrig in 1930.
What more could you ask for on a Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig signed baseball? This ball was smacked off the Babe’s giant bat for an out-of-the-park homerun. The boy who caught this ball was waiting outside the stadium for this moment. He tracked it down and held on tight as other boys tried to rip it out of his hands. As was the stadium’s policy he was allowed to see the team after the game and have them sign it. (Imagine that in today’s world? Yea, Right!). The boy met Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig after the game and they signed it for him. Clearly this ball was properly preserved as the condition of the signatures is amazingly dark still. We had to own this one! This ball has a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity as well as a notarized letter from the boy and related newspaper articles from that day.Ruth & Gehrig Ball
